Catholic priest slumps and dies while officiating Mass in Rivers State

A Catholic priest slumped and died while officiating Mass in Rivers State on Sunday, March 22, 2020.

 

Rev. Father Cyprian Kooro, of the St. Helen Catholic Church, Ogbogoro, Rivers State, was in the middle of celebrating Mass with his parishioners when he collapsed suddenly.

 

He was immediately rushed to the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, UPTH, where he was pronounced dead.
